Love Letters

Céline is preparing to become a mother, but she isn’t the one carrying the baby. Her wife, Nadia will give birth in just a few months and Céline must navigate the emotional, legal, and social challenges of becoming a parent in this unconventional journey.  In France, since Celline will not be the biological mother of her daughter, she now faces a mountain of paperwork to adopt her daughter. As the due date approaches, she searches for her place as a mother, partner and family member, questioning identity, legitimacy, and belonging along the way. Through quiet domestic moments, heartfelt conversations and subtle humor, LOVE LETTERS explores how love and family are built in ways that go beyond biology. LOVE LETTERS is a character-driven, LGBTQ+ drama about anticipation, intimacy and the emotional labor of building a life together.
