The Screening Room at Rialto Cinemas Cerrito is a 21 seat theatre that we have built in an under-utilized storefront space at the front of the venue. This intimate and immersive experience is the realization of a long-held dream that we have had for the Cerrito and was part of our initial ideas when we took over operations in July of 2009.  

With the decrease in screens in the East Bay and the loss of many iconic theatres, the time is right to expand our programming options at the Cerrito.  The screening room will give us the opportunity to bring films that otherwise may not have played in the Berkeley-Albany-El Cerrito-Richmond corridor to the screen.
