Rentals

In July, 2009 we brought our brand of independent, customer friendly experience to El Cerrito’s Cerrito Theatre. This beautiful theatre is more than a community asset it is a vital destination, a meeting place, and a place to nourish the mind, body and soul. Here at Rialto Cinemas Cerrito we feature a great mix of first run films as well as a mix of independent, foreign and classic films. And there’s more: we present the films as well as serving food, beer and wine, delivered to your seat! Both auditoriums, Scene Wine Bar and our meeting room are available to rent.

Rialto Cinemas offers corporate, nonprofit/local filmmaker, and private event rentals. The standard rental period is 2 hours. The rates for a 2-hour rental vary depending on the day of the week (available Sunday – Thursday), time of day, and space requested. All rentals are based on availability around Rialto Cinemas programming.

Auditorium 1 has a capacity of 141 and Auditorium 2 has a capacity of 137.  All auditoriums are ADA-accessible and can provide Closed Caption, Assistive Listening, and Audio Description devices.  Rentals rates include staffing and basic tech needs. Our wine bar and meeting room are also available to rent.

Catering, concessions, ticketing, and additional tech support are available. Please let us know what you are looking for when you fill out the rental application form.

Please note rental approval is based on the sole judgement of management.
