The producers of the new Paramount Plus film, Afghan Dreamers, have kindly offered to screen their award-winning documentary to benefit First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley Outreach partners that serve refugees. Afghan Dreamers tells the story of the Afghan Girls Robotics Team, an iconoclastic group of Afghan schoolgirls who defied traditional Afghan gender roles to compete in robotics…and helped transform a nation and people.

The screening will be followed by a 45-minute panel discussion with the producers, human rights defenders, and First Pres Outreach partner representatives, who will discuss how they were called to serve Afghan and other refugee communities, and other efforts to transform the world.
