Our next Rialto Recommends takes us back to Paris and the theatre. From acclaimed French director Jacques Rivette (La Belle Noiseuse), VA SAVOIR (Who Knows?) centers on three men and three women whose lives converge during the run of a play in Paris. Constructed with grace and wit, VA SAVOIR is a light-hearted yet cerebral romantic comedy of intertwining relations. The Philadephia Inquirer said "A dense, droll and frequently delightful account of that zone where art and life (and love) converge." While the San Francisco Chronicle said "As VA SAVOIR moves along and develops new layers as the characters collide and intertwine, its pleasures increase with its complexity." And the Washington Post adds "It gets frenetic, in the French way, but it never stops getting amusing. This is what happens when you let grown-ups make movies." VA SAVOIR is available to rent for a modest fee from Amazon, Vudu and Apple HERE.
